What you are looking at

Every memorial on this page was written by somebody who lost the animal in it. They are not profiles or listings: they are what a family chose to say about a life, sometimes a paragraph and sometimes years of photographs, and they are public because being read is part of the point.

Search by name if you are trying to find a specific memorial somebody shared with you. Use the filters if you are here for another reason: to read memorials for the same breed, the same kind of animal, or from the same memorial park as yours. Sorting by date of passing is how most people find the ones written closest to when they lost their own.

Reading other people's memorials is not morbid, and it is the single most common thing visitors do here before writing their own. Seeing how somebody else said it is often what makes it possible to start.

Common questions

Does it cost anything to create a memorial?
No. Creating a memorial with photographs, a description and a timeline of life events is free, and it stays online.
Can I keep a memorial private?
Memorials are public by default so that friends and family can find and add to them. Anything you would rather not publish is best left out of the memorial itself.
Can other people add to a memorial I created?
Yes. Anyone with the link can leave a tribute, which is what turns a memorial into a record of everyone who loved the animal rather than only the person who wrote it.
I cannot find a memorial that was shared with me.
Search by the pet's name rather than the owner's, and clear any filters that are still applied. If it still does not appear, the fastest route is the direct link from whoever shared it.
